About Riptide Ride

Riptide Ride is locally owned by Tim and Joni Flynn. They were both born and raised in Munising. After moving around the Midwest for twenty years they returned in 2003 to raise their children in the beautiful surroundings that Munising provides.

Riptide Ride was created to give a much needed entertaining way to see the beauty of Lake Superior and the surrounding area. We are focused on providing a fun experience while combining an educational interpretation of the sights you will see.

We created two distinct routes to give our customers choices and options. We offer a short or long ride depending on your schedule and what you would like to see.

We are a family owned business in the true sense. Our children play an important role from helping us create the Riptide Ride name, to selling tickets.

As in our other business, The Modern Woodsmith, our goal is to give our customers the best service and experience. Everything we do is focused on making this a reality.
